Sat. 4/4 @ 9-10am: Weed Control, Pest Control, Fertilizers
Stop the struggle! Learn proper and safe methods to control the things you don’t want and encourage the things you do. A few simple things will help your landscape and garden to thrive.
Sat. 4/11 @ 9-10am: Planning your vegetable garden/Raised Bed gardening
A little planning before you start can make all the difference in a successful garden. We will teach you how to prepare your soil and how to plan your placement. Also, the pros and cons of raised bed gardening. What to expect and how to get started.
Sat. 4/18 @ 9-10am: Flowering and Shade Trees for Utah
The right choice and placement of trees will affect the look and feel of your home like little else can. Knowing which trees are suited for our unique climate and zone will greatly increase your chances of tree success. You may find there are options you hadn’t considered, this class will include visuals of mature trees plus tips for proper planting and care of trees.
Sat. 4/25 @9-10am: Principles of Landscape Design
Your landscape is an extension of your living space. It adds beauty and value to your home and is an expression of your tastes. This class is a great opportunity to gain ideas and vision of what is possible in your outdoor space. Join us as we share the knowledge and inspiration that will kick start your efforts to create the landscape you want.
May Potting Classes:
These very popular classes are taught by our Green House Manager and floral expert Patti Hjorten. She will walk you through every step of planning, planting and caring for your potted flower arrangements. Bring your own pots or choose one of ours, you’ll go home with something beautiful you’ve created that will bring you joy all summer long! (You will receive 10% off anything you put in your pot during your class. Class is free.)
