- Nursery - Our Story

He shared with us his love of beautiful landscapes as we spent our family vacations touring the home shows in California and our summers working outside together. We built a home in Pleasant View where our Dad drew landscape and home design in the basement.

Lomond View Nursery had its beginnings in 1987 when, as brothers, we started growing plants in the back yard to use in little landscaping jobs in the community. The business began to grow and was moved to the corner of the pasture on the family farm, where it is still located today. In 1994 we began construction on our first garden center, and our Dad moved his home design business from the basement into this building. Through the years Lomond View has blossomed into a full service Nursery/Garden Center and is a respected source for landscape inspiration. With our wives by our sides, we have filled our nursery with demonstration landscapes and waterscapes and an elegant Garden Wedding Reception Center. In 2013 we welcomed Grandma’s Closet Boutique onto the Lomond View sales floor, and we are excited for the variety this has added to our garden center.

Our family has grown right along with the nursery and on any given day you will find several of the 20 grandchildren working in all aspects of the landscaping, home design and wedding receptions. They work along-side the many employees that have come to feel like part of the family. We are proud of the tradition we have of creating beauty in landscape and the hundreds of homes and businesses that we have been able to transform along the Wasatch Front. Our goal is to continually create a place where our customers can find landscape inspiration, expert advice, excellent service and a great selection of plants.
